The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has deployed assessment and rescue teams to the areas affected by recent typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan), locally known as Yolanda, to evaluate the damage and to support rescue efforts.
Welfare Desks including RFL and tracing services are established in the affected areas. National Societies abroad that are approached by families without news of their loved ones can contact the PRC Social Services Department

- Raise a minimum of Php50,000 worth of funds for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda
- Raise awareness of the situation in affected areas including Tacloban, Bantayan and Ormoc (among others)

GAME PLAN
- Piggy banks will be deployed in different areas including but not limited to
- roving students in DLSU ~5pax (c/o Timothy Chu)
- GREASE Previews in partnership with 9 Works Theatrical (Nov 22 8PM show, Carlos P. Romulo Theatre, RCBC Plaza)
- Drop Point in Orange Whisk, Activation w/ Orange Whisk
- Other school campus (UP-M, AdMU, UP-D, DLS-STC >> 1 rep each as of Nov 13)
- Collection will be accounted for daily and an update will be posted daily
- First identified cut off will be Friday, November 15, 2013 and next will be on November 22, 2013. Collection efforts beyond this period will be determined and announced accordingly
- Collected money will be turned over to JCI Cebu (Ken Ngo, President) with full disclosure and announcement of total amount
- It has been agreed that JCI Cebu will focus on helping the ff cities/towns:
CEBU: Bogo, Daanbantayan, Bantayan
SAMAR: Guiuan
LEYTE: Tacloban
